Stories like these see the light of day at the hands of artist Charlotte Wendes. As an independent jewelry designer, Charlotte always lets fantasy prevail. Without traditionally imposed limits, her creativity blossoms in the accomplishment of an idea, rather than a specific design. This freedom results in nontraditional, exclusive pieces of jewelry: imagine a fish-shaped pendant, replete with scales made from golden balls hammered flat, garnished with a diamond eye. Or her clever spiral rings, expandable with individually cut gemstones in various colours or Wendes`s exquisite miniature golden balls. The artist herself calls the style "nostalgic and antique".

All jewelry is handmade in Charlotte Wendes`s workshop. Here Charlotte often guides clients, whom she invites to take part in the creation process. By individually selecting patterns, a combination of stones or merely the desired curve of a gold ring, no two pieces are alike. Each creation becomes an unparalleled work of art, whose history continues to be written long after it has left the working table.
